Oregon Bottle Drop Program!
2023 was a tremendous success, the program brought in over $14,000 to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation!!!
Plus... look at all the bottles being recycled!!

We are excited to be teamed up with Oregon Bottle Drop to raise money for the WFF. At large fires we work with agency administrators, incident management teams and amazing recycling teams like Triple Flare Recycling, Perennial Zero Waste, and others who bring the water bottles and cans from these incidents to bottle drop locations. The money raised from these are then donated to the WFF. Last year was a huge success and this year we will be taking steps to raise even more awareness of the program and hopefully raise twice of much!
How can you help?!
We have been told that only about 25% of water bottles are being recycled and the rest are being thrown away on these fires.
Please try recycling all your water bottles and encouraging your module to do the same!
If you don't see a 'Bottle Drop Program' on your fire, please talk to the Incident Management Team about recycling for the WFF.
All it takes is a quick phone call to me, Sam Pearcy, and I can set it all up!
